About the database

The designer database was started in September 1997.
Since then we have recorded the details of 4451 web design companies. Sadly not all of these companies are still in business.

Now (4th December 2008) the database contains 1565 live records, of these 199 (12%) are for companies based in Greater London.

The web site database was launched on 1 July 2000 with a dataset of over 4500 web site URLs and client company names.
Since then the designers have increased the list to 10563 client URLs.

Now (4th December 2008) there are 4185 client websites associated with the 1565 live design companies available

The databases are independently produced, they are not provided or funded by any of the companies or individuals within the database.

There is no charge to use the database and there is no charge for inclusion in the database BUT both use and inclusion are entirely at the discretion of the database manager.

The company data has either been researched independently or submitted by the design company themselves.

Inclusion in the database is ENTIRELY at the discretion of the database manager and we reserve the right to remove any database entry at any time for any reason.
